David Gergely joined CORE Group Marketing in 2005, after working in Germany for many years for US-based real estate companies piqued his interest and enthusiasm in the New York real estate market.

David graduated in 2000 from the Stauffenberg Business School in Frankfurt, Germany with a major in Business and Real Estate Development. He was a member of the Sales & Purchase team of a Frankfurt-based development group where he managed the company’s residential portfolio.

In 2002 David shifted his focus to commercial real estate and worked as a senior consultant at a preeminent commercial real estate firm on real estate transactions, relocations and project analysis for corporate clientele including Deutsche Bank AG, Allianz AG and Lufthansa AG. In 2003 David became Head of Leasing at Insignia Germany and supervised the department of Office Lease for clients such as BMW, Opel, Lehman Brothers and Goldman and Sachs.

David was a professional tennis player who was ranked in Germany, and competed all over Europe. He currently makes his home in Manhattan.
