John Gomes is a Vice President at CORE Group Marketing. He brings years of experience in the luxury segment of the industry where he has brokered over $100M in residential sales. Over the years he has worked closely with buyers, sellers, investors and high-profile clients alike, securing them luxury apartments in highly coveted New York City buildings.
His success in the industry is a direct reflection of the personal attention he gives to the people he works with. He is an avid communicator with a keen sense of what makes people feel comfortable, which ultimately allows him to best fulfill their needs. He takes pride in that fact that the majority of his business is referral based. John works with Fredrik Eklund and developed 52 East 4th Street, 290 Mulberry and 949 Park Avenue (coming soon!), all record breaking properties.
As the Director of the Resort Division John has traveled extensively establishing a network of International buyers and developers. Currently he is consulting in the development of a ground-breaking Resort Development in Costa Rica that will redefine “Green Living”.
Originally from Boston, John is now a resident of Lower Manhattan. He holds a BA in both Political Science and Communication Studies and an MBA in Management. He also holds an Associate Broker’s license. Prior to his career in real estate John worked as the Maitre’ D at Balthazar in SoHo and later served as the president at the renown fashion house of Norman Norell. His background in the creative fields of fashion, art, and hospitality continue to influence his work.
